Q: I am installing this backup camera on a 2010 F150 and I am concerned that there will glare at night from the licence plate lights which are mount in the bumper on either side of the licence plate. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Q: could I use this cam without hard wiring it to my truck and do I need to tie into the reverse lights . I only want to use it for hooking up to my trailer and being able to put the cam away when not needed .

A: This backup camera is designed to provide live images when backing up. It is powered by the reverse light so it is only working when the vehicle is in reverse mode. Therefore it has to be tied into the reverse light. The wiring system is designed with quick connectors so that user just need to find the reverse light wire and simply “click” them with the backup camera wires by the connectors included. It is much easier than common hard wiring job. When you don’t need the camera in use, you just need to simply remove the camera by detaching the connectors without cutting any wires. Of course, when you need the camera in use again, just simply restore the connectors.

A: • RELOAD doesn't provide install service. You need to install it on your own. There is a very detailed and easy to understand manual in the product box which you can easily follow and install. There is also a QR code shown on the packaging which links to a video about installation, and we believe it helps to understand how it is installed on a vehicle. • The product can in stalled on Toyota 4 Runner. The product contains a 10m cord which should be long enough for the vehicle. • You can also call toll free number 1 877 466 8191 for help. • If you want to link the product to your vehicle's OEM back –up sensor/display system, you have to consult with the vehicle seller or factory. The vehicle's internal system may have its own protocol so that external device cannot be added in.
