Great idea if it had worked!

Unit was purchase to for a classic auto without backup lights. When connected to the monitor, it did not work. No image on the screen, however, the lights worked quite well.

Quit working at 14 months

This camera lasted 14 months for me and now does not work. The warranty is 12 months..... All the electrical connections are secure, fuses are good. Camera quit working.
It was decent while it lasted. The back up camera light was a good addition.

Good camera. Last long

I had some work done on my Toyota Tacoma from the dealership in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. They messed up my truck bad. Brakes are screwed. Can of my truck is screwed. Anyway. They also cut through my camera and bought me another camera which didn’t even last a year. I went and picked up this one which was the same as the initial one I had that the dealership cut through which was also a good camera. So far I like this camera a lot. Clear picture

A: I'm not sure if that is possible. Maybe it's dependent on the type of stereo system you have. I would have to check the instructions to find out for myself even.

Q: I bought a truck with this back up camera on it but there is no video screen to see the back is it wireless and you use your cell phone if so what program do I need to use it.

A: It's not wireless, but has a video plug to a dvd player monitor - look at the installation picture. If your car has a built in dvd player then it's possible it has a video input (not HDMI) but if you want a camera that will work with your phone as the display then look for a wireless backup camera.
