Higher than specs on website

I had to return it as the height in the description was wrong so it didn’t fit where I was planning to store it in my van. Because of this I wasted two hours total.

Q: Can the jug be stored on its side when full of water? Or will it leak out of the vent?

A: It will leak if stored on the side. BUT if this is for an RV tank refill, it is perfect and recommended. If filling an RV, do not let the weight of the tank rest on the pour spout or it will crack the spout as it is plastic.

A: Thanks for your question Assembled means, the cap is inserted into the product for placement on the shelf. Assembled for use is with the spout attached. Height of the Desert Patrol assembled (without spout in place) is: 48.6 cm. Height of Desert Patrol assembled for use with the pouring spout in place is 57.8 cm.
