It’s very sturdy I got 3 which I needed my house I am not worried at all, fits In a normal doorway or a large wall gap. And the door is easy to use. I feel it’s going to keep my baby safe and it’s super easy to install

Q: The adjustable width is so vague! When it says maximum width is 30” will it extend to 34” ?all the answers are different in this q and a. Some say yes, some say no. Will it pressure fit a width of 34-36 inches.

A: Yes it should fit , I believe my space is about the same where I am using it . If not they do have extentions to make it bigger which is nice.

Q: Want to use this for my 2nd bedroom door frame is about 32 inches in length will this gate be too long to fit a doorframe, the details say it is adjustable! Can it be adjusted shorter?

A: Depends on the intended use. To stop small pets, then top and bottom would be ok. If it's to stop a child, then I would say it would be fine for the bottom of the stairs but I wouldn't trust it for the top of the stairs. Hope this helps. Cheers!

A: It only requires one hand. It is quiet to close. I have two different ones, one has a button on top and the other one has a slide lock
