    works for small trailers

I drive a large pick up truck and reversing an empty boat trailer is impossible because its invisible from the back and sides. Unlike what they have in picture, I put these ball magnets at end of trailer on opposite sides and thus they become guide rails. Cheap alternative to expensive ones. Just remember to remove them prior to dropping trailer in water cause they will fall off and they rust. They are flimsy. You cannot drive with them on, Just need them for reversing this one trailer when empty. Beats looking unmanly when reversing blindly. try it this way, works great

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great idea but....

This product is a great idea but the execution is poor. It is very fragile: the telescopic rods come apart very easily. If the receiver has a rounded top the flat magnet does not connect well and the rod rarely stands up straight, it is also badly affected by wind. And to add insult to injury they are not tall enough for use on my 2007 F150. returned to store for refund.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good idea but kind of poor quality

I found this to be a pretty effective product at aligning but because the trailer tongue and trailer hitch are uneven it's hard to keep the magnet on the base straight and it can even topple over and fall right off. The rods are flimsy, hollow, adjustable aluminum tubing and with only slight pressure I already split the top segment on one of the rods and it's almost broke right off, but it still slides in and out.

No, I do not recommend this product.
