This lightweight 24-ounce fishing basket features a float chamber to prevent sinking and a reinforced 14-inch diameter main chamber to hold fish. The spring-loaded basket trap door allows fish to easily enter from below while keeping them securely inside. Worked petty decent until the ladds and I had er all tangled in the prop. I learned that this can be used as a fish descaler if drug at the proper speed it will start to spin like a concrete drum around and around. I do not recommend this practice. As far as a live well goes yes it works great for standard size sport fish. But you would have a hard time putting a musky in there. But then again why would you?

Top flap failure

I usually catch and release but on occasion I keep one or fish for dinner. Bought this basket. Put one small bass through the top flap and its assembly failed. I would not recommend this product.
