RED TEK Dye Charge A/C Leak Detection Dye is recommended for use when consumers are looking to pinpoint and replace a leaking component or hose. To be used with: Recharge kit (14-6129), recharge gauge kit (014-7933)
Requires the RED TEK Additive Can Adapter (#513 –0147934 sold separately) for use with RED TEK 1234yf recharge gauge kit (0147926)
Contains 2 oz of RED TEK refrigerant
Formulated to find leaks in rubber, o-rings and metal components of air conditioning systems with highly visible yellow dye, leak detection light may be needed for small leaks
Note: Environmental regulations require the air conditioning system be empty or properly evacuated of R134A , R12, 1234YF refrigerants by certified personnel prior to charging the system with alternative products
