Q: Are these fixtures water-resistant? Would like to know if these can be used in bathroom / shower locations, OR as outdoor soffit fixtures.

A: Thank you for your question. These units have been designed to be used in your shower. Please note, however, that they should not come into direct contact with water as they are rated for moist locations. These units were not meant to be used outdoors. Though they have a sealing gasket within the trim, they have not been designed to sustain temperature fluctuations. Please note that, due to different building codes, it is recommended that any installation be reviewed by a certified electrician or a building inspector. We hope that this answers your question.
