Used down the shores of the Youralava River in Rapala, out there by Timberdoodle.Went Great with my Salty Dog Shrimp until my fishing trip was cut short due to my meeting at Mensroom.5/5.

Great top water bait for Pike

I bought this hook on a whim when I saw it in a fishing store. I was amazed that the very first cast there was a strike. Of course it took about three or four more strikes before I finally landed a pike. After that it was not stop with strikes and fish. I was really impressed and my fishing partner is going to buy one. The only downfall for me is somehow on one of my strikes the fish was able to get the hook off of the lure. I took a trebel hook and broke one of the hooks off but the action was not the same. I will be buying a few more of these hooks and continue to enjoy the thrill of the top water fishing.

Way cool little buzz bait!

I was surprised when I first saw it. It's really neat looking. Quite a unique little buzz bait! Will be a great choice in the late Spring/Summer. Looking forward to using it this year. Rebel makes all kinds of neat little baits for us more scaled down anglers. Can't been a Rebel!

Loved by Northern Pike BUT

Be advised that the image for the Southern Leopard is not accurate. It is not, in fact, Orange but Tan. Unfortunately, I discovered this when it arrived...and already had a duplicate in my tacklebox. I'm disappointed. If unable to negotiate an exchange, I may paint the underside of the legs bright orange myself for added visibility.My performance review: Worked wonders for northern pike in weedy areas. I used one with a bright belly for better visibility. It performed well, didn't pick up as many weeds as the other surface lures we used, and the spinning legs helped attract interest.It's a fun lure with a slight downside...it seemed to take most pike 2-3 strikes per reelback to get on the hook... sometimes the lure is by the boat by then. It was a blast watching them strike and miss and multiple pike were landed when they didn't....until a 38"-44"er walloped it, broke the line and kept it as a souvenir...
