Purchased from CTC Flyer sale. Unfortunately this product has now experienced complete functional failure at 22 months after purchase. Beginning at 14 Months, the Sound functions began to degrade and from intermittent loss of remote volume control, it became worse over time until at 16 months the volume function ceased to function up or down from either the remote or the on-board switch. The Audio became locked at the 50% Level. At 18 Months the Audio ceased to function completely. We used the Headphone jack as an input to an old Computer External Speaker system and that worked. At 20 months the Off/On began to fail and the T.V. would take 2 or 3 tries to come on and stay on, however that degraded to the point that it can now require 10 to 20 attempts to start it up and it requires the power to be shut off, i.e., pull the plug, to re-boot the start function for each attempt(Power Supply is a dedicated surge protected circuit). Additionally, the Screen View went into “expanded” or “zoomed-in” and cannot be re-set or defaulted. Currently, any attempt to initiate “Settings” causes Shut-down, power black-out. Warrantee was 12 Months and a T.V. repair facility declined to work on it without a $100 diagnostic fee, and further stated it was very poor quality and not worth sinking money into. Very disappointing experience. Be cautious relying on reviews of this product from recent purchases when the device is new. Based on Internet searches at the time of its initial Glitches, typical failure issues begin between 14 to 18 months of use.
