A: I think it will but it depends on the age of the receiver. Generally RCA codes are part of the remote code library. The owners manual will walk you through how to identify the correct code or how to do a code search using your receiver. Good luck.

Q: Hi. Will this work for an older Jensen tv? It is approximately from 2011. I am having a hard time getting a universal remote to work. RCA is supposed to but so far the ones I've tried don't.

A: The Jensen code isn’t programmed on the remote but there is a function called “auto-code search” to try to find the proper code that will work the TV. How to use this function will be in the instruction book. That is the best solution.

A: The 045-3302 should be able to control a surround sound system but you do need to identify the remote code. The manual with the remote explains how to do a code search either by brand or device. The remote can do a random code search as well this can take some time but it will find the code. .You will need to follow the instructions in the manual. In addition this device is a learning remote.It can learn about 50 functions from the original remote. You can also program macros that will perform up to 15 operations at once using only 1 key. All the information is in the manual.
