Bought it on Friday. Was in my living room & I tried all Sat, Sun, & Mon to tune it in. No matter what I tried I could not get the colours right not could I get a sharp, clear Pic. I had it in my living room beside my old TV, a 15 year old LG high def. At no point did the pic come close to my old tv.
Then, Monday evening the picture turned into a black & red plaid pattern, later a solid blue. I returned it on Tuesday.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't buy, total garbage

Tv was bought for Mom 1 year ago. watched it less than 4 hours a day. Now all it does when powering up is red light flashes once then blue then red then blue then blue light on but nothing. did everything to try and reset, No hard reset available.
Again don't buy, you will be sorry, Also no help when contacting curtiscs.com
Be forewarned, Tv is garbage. also it only warrants a one star but rating wont let you choose a one star rating as it bumps up to two star.

Do not buy, get LG or Samsung, Sony

Purchased this TV about a year ago. It lasted 1 year suddenly went black and had a faint very, faint screen. The LED backlights went out, I’m sure they’re like $50 online but you have to be electronically enclined and skilled to fix it. It’s fixable but I’m not a tv repairman. I wouldn’t recommend. However it did last one year. I think tvs should at least last 5 years.

Q: WTH? I bought rca 70" tv trying to set it up, everythings LG. says additional devices may not work unless they are also mfg by LG. I thought I was buying an RCA?

A: Yes it has closed captioning for Over The Air broadcast reception. For external program sources, closed captioning is a function of the external device plugged into the TV For streaming program sources closed captioning is a function of the external streaming program source e.g. Netflix, Youtube, Prime etc.
