RCA 4K UHD HDR10 WebOS Smart TV, 65-in

Overall it is a good TV while it works, but it only carries a one year warranty, and mine completely failed with no picture whatsoever in a couple of years. Even if you buy this TV on sale, it’s not worth it! The components are designed to fail, not worth fixing and becomes a paperweight. Very disappointed in RCA making such an inferior product. Disgusting.

I bought this TV on clearance and love it. Only 3 of these TVs left.

Bought this when it was on sale roughly May 2023. Worked great, and for the price I paid for a 65 inch smart TV it was practically a steal. Ran into a power supply issue within the first 6 weeks (apparently a common issue for RCA TVs). Thankfully it happened so early on that it was covered under warranty. Going through customer support was extremely slow. Initially it seemed alright but later during the process it would take days for customer support to respond. Eventually they told me that they'll replace the TV or refund it, but wouldn't tell me which it one it would be. The worst part was that I would have to do what they called a "field destroy" because they no longer take TVs back. I had to cut the power cord, scratch the tv screen with the "case file number", and rip off the back sticker on the TV. All seemed very wasteful, and now I have a useless TV that I'll have to pay for to discard, or wait until fall/spring clean up to throw away. The issue itself was the TV wouldn't turn on after a power out. The only way around this was to manually unplug and replug the tv back in order to turn it on each time, which at worst is a minor inconvenience. Apparently this is a common problem with RCA TVs, and after doing some research on it, it's a simple fix. Destroying the TV over this was very wasteful of an otherwise perfectly working TV. The worst part about this experience was not knowing whether the TV would be replaced or refunded before doing all of this. On the bright side, if the TV didn't have this issue, the sound and picture quality was great for the price I paid for it when it was on sale. Movies and gaming on the TV again seemed great given the price I paid for it. I will most certainly think very hard and carefully the next time I buy an RCA product.
