    Do Not Buy

    Bought this tv. Non of the buttons worked on the physical tv and took the unit back. Before taking it back talked with RCA to see if maybe I was doing something wrong??? They did an inquiry on the product and advised that I just take it back. Seems like a common problem that they know about. Picture was horrible as well.

    RCA, historic brand still worth the purchase

    I have had many RCA televisions and they still do make excellent products. Often I find them at the lower end of the price tag, but middle or above average in quality. So great bang for the buck. This one is no exception, however do note the resolution. It's 720p in a 1080p screen size - what I mean is 32" is about the largest a 720p tv should be, otherwise the pixels start getting big and noticeable. Like in this screen. You want to stand back for it to look good. A true HS (1080) will look good close and far. Speed is also an issue, 8ms response, a little higher than the average. Best for regular tv and not hd sports or playing fast motion games. For the price, at the time $400, worth it for sure!

    i just turned the tv its been on for 1hr and it has now gone black screen with only sound no picture as soon as the tv turns on and the RCA pops up it goes straight to black screen can someone help me with this is this a setting or something or a flaw in the tv????

    I spent hours online researching televisions: sizes, output, jacks, LCD vs LED, yadayadayada. Then, I saw this one on sale in the summer and couldn't resist the price. I was impressed by all of the jacks and connections, as well as the 1080p and sleekness of it's design. Why not give it a try? It's safe to say that this was one of the best chances I've taken in shopping. Now, when I go into box stores and stare at all of the televisions on the wall, I have a complaint for every single one: too blurry, too light, or too dark. This one is perfect. RCA is a trusted brand in electronics, known for long lasting products but less marketing and gimmicks than other brands. The 39" size is perfect for viewing and it's very easy to operate and connect to a computer. For the price, you can't go wrong. It looks as good - if not better - than televisions double its price. I couldn't resist reviewing. Enjoy!
