Not for the Long Term
I had this TV purchased for me back in Xmas of 2012, and when I unboxed it, it worked great for the first while I had the television. I did, however, notice a lot of manufacturing/defects over time. When headphones are plugged directly into the headphone jack, there is a loud hum (signal to noise, audio feedback) that you can hear continuously. I looked this up and apparently RCA also makes an audio-ground loop to circumvent this hum. Go figure.
Anyway, the headjack wasn't a big deal. Another problem I had was sometimes the HDMI controller for the television would mess up--rather the sound didn't pick up, or the display would show as black. This was a rarer issue and usually a reboot of both devices would fix this. Also another issue that didn't bother me as much, although sometimes problematic.
But recently this year a major problem started with the television. The TV, when initially turned on (brought out of stand-by) will display a white screen with the RCA logo in red letters momentarily, then go into whatever source input was last turned on. The TV has begun to freeze constantly on the initial loading screen, regardless of what is plugged into it or what input was last left on before the television was turned off. To fix this, I have unplug the tv (nothing works on the remote or the tv until this is done) and plug it back in, turn it on, see if it works. If not, repeat until it does. I've had times now where I've had to unplug it 10-11 times before it works again. Needless to say, I've been looking into getting a new television.
All in all, the RCA 32'' HDTV/DVD combo (this particular model) is reliable for basic cable and some forms of gaming systems, but because of possibly shoddy internal components, it wouldn't be a viable long-term solution for anyone wishing to use it quite consistently. I'm pretty disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Decent TV for the money
Bought this tv for my girlfriend basement and to play blu-rays and videogames. Pretty solid tv for the money (got it on sale for $199.99) 3 hdmi ports means you shouldn't ever run out. A bit of tweaking and the image is quite good, especially for the price range. Speakers play quiet crisp and clear. Overall a great buy for the price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Something to be said about quality
I liked the idea that it had a USB port, but will not play video from a flash drive. I guess it must be for computer connection. Cannot get the aspect to properly suit the picture. Either it does not fill the screen or you miss portions of the picture. It seems to offer substantial sound options, but the sound quality is poor. Price is cheap enough and if you need a nice size cheap T.V. for the garage or cottage it'll do the trick. It does offer 3 HDMI connections. The actual picture quality is not bad but you'll see a difference on a higher end TV for substantially more money.
No, I do not recommend this product.
