perfect for small adult

I got one of these in 2020. I enjoy riding it and rode it a lot during the first couple of years, and occasionally thereafter. As a 5'2" adult, fully extended it is the perfect height for me, and I like the light weight when I need to pick it up and carry it. Good price, sturdy, and I like the pretty colors. I also like that you're supposed to be able to buy parts like wheels or handgrips, since these do eventually wear out. I haven't had to replace them yet, though.

Great scooter for ages 8+

Great quality scooter. Suits my smaller 10-yr old daughter perfectly, with some room to grow. My taller 13-yr old son can also ride this scooter for fun. The other smaller Razor is definitely for younger children. Brakes are easy to apply. The scooter folds up nicely and looks great.

My smaller 10yr old daughter loves this scooter. I'd say it was a good size for ages 9-15, depending on how tall your kids grow (fits my taller 13 yr old son too). Great quality, smooth ride, easy to fold up and take with you. Good-sized wheels for getting some speed, easy rear foot-braking system. Pretty colours, lots of compliments. We bought it on sale for $150. Highly recommend!

A: We would not recommend doing tricks on this particular kick scooter as it is intended to be ridden on smooth, flat surfaces.

Q: I'm looking for a similar scooter (big wheels, turning to steer rather than leaning) for my just-turned-5-year old. He will be transitioning from a three-wheeled, lean-to-steer scooter. We ride on packed gravel and pavement. What would you suggest?

A: The Razor A5 scoter is designed for 8+ age range. Transitioning from a three wheel scooter to two wheel takes some practice. Much like learning to ride a bike. Our recommendation is to learn on our Razor A scooter first. It is much smaller and easier to handle. The Razor A5 200 MM wheels are better suited for packed gravel , however, the Razor A scooter ( 98mm wheels) should work as well. Also, please wear a helmet and protective gear when scootering.
