The Slab Rap from Rapala creates a tantalizing rocking motion under the ice that triggers even the most lethargic fish. With quick rod twitches, the lure searches in wide, erratic directions before circling back to centre after a pause. A lift and drop motion establishes a subtle vibration on the rise, followed by evasive side-to-side motion on the fall due to its weight forward design.This enables a rocking action that triggers the territorial instincts of fish lurking below.
