Took three trips to my local Canadian Tire, which is about 45 minutes away, before they were finally able to locate the item I needed. I called numerous times and spent about 30 minutes on hold each time. I was told they had two in stock, so I drove out there, only to be told they couldn’t find them. I spoke with the duty manager, but unfortunately they weren’t very helpful. I left my name and callback number and was told someone would follow up, but I never received a call. In the end, I had to purchase the item through the online store, and even then it took several days before I received any notification about the order. While I’m happy with the product itself, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had with Canadian Tire. As a customer who had to make multiple 45-minute trips and spend hours trying to resolve a simple purchase, it felt like my time simply wasn’t valued.
