Q: How do they wire to install?

A: They plug into your 4 wire trailer plug, it only uses the ground and one other wire for the tail lights. Caution the wiring is not very long, 12" to the plug. I needed an extension for my Ram 1500 Classic.

Q: Details states "1157 incandescent bulb ", then "The crisp, bright LEDs", mine is an 1156 incandescent bulb. Also "LEDs provide excellent visibility for safe towing at night or in bad weather", if towing anything, this item is removed for a hitch.
