Whatever type of bike you ride, the Raleigh Bike Adapter makes it easy to bring it along on the road with you. This bike adapter has a telescoping design with a spring-loaded bar that telescopes from 22" to 29" long. The unique design of this metal bike adapter incorporates a protective loop allowing differently shaped bikes to ride on the hitch or be strapped to rack arms. This bicycle adapter is designed to hold a single bike.

Q: Would it for for 16” kids bike ?

A: Sorry for the delay; I had to go to my favourite CTC store to measure bikes. The Raleigh Bike Adapter will work if the bike has a 16" seat post. That's the vertical pipe that goes from the Bottom Bracket to the top where the seat is fastened. It will span the distance from the Seat Post to the Handle Bar Stem. It will not work if it is a child's bike with 16" wheels.
