This product is not well made, and will not last it is made with very cheap plastic, and will probably crack with the first freeze! Easy to put together but one of the corner pieces broke!

Q: so-o-o if I buy two units can I combine them and have one unit 4x12 ( two "cross members" used as sides)? Put another way if I buy two units (8 sides total) can I use one "side" for each end and three up each "side" effectively giving me a planter 4x12.

Q: How deep did you dig underneath and how many items? I am curious as to how much dirt you had to dig under these units to make sure you had room for roots? I am also curious as to how many items you can plant in a 4X4?

A: It really depends on what you are growing. Its advised especially if you are just building a one level garden to remove any grass below and cultivate the soil so the soil from the raised garden and the ground bind. If you are growing leafy vegetables you don’t need as much depth and can get away with laying landscape meshing on top of the grass to suppress its growth and simply fill with potting soil to top of planter wall. For larger crops it is recommended that the grass be removed and soil cultivated with a tiller or spade. Plant spacing is all dependent on what your growing and should be researched by the gardener.

Q: can I buy 2 extra stakes I bought 2 systems and built it out from the fence using the fence as one side and stacking it two board high. Because of this I am 2 pegs short. Can I order them separately?
