Rainfresh HP1 1-Micron Extra-Fine Pore Sediment Cartridge

These 1 micron cartridge filters are an ideal for and cost effective solution for filtering fine sand and other small particles that may be present in well water before the well water is consumed or used. I purchased and installed these cartridges in my elderly mother in law’s home filter system (a single cartridge Rainfresh unit) which provides a visual indication of the condition of the filter that is installed. She had been previously using 5 micron cartridges. The rainfresh unit used in her home has a top mounted shut off valve which makes it very quick and easy to remove the old filter cartridge and install a new one. Before installing the new cartridge I used a soft cloth to clean the inside of cartridge holder so that it is easier to see / inspect the condition of the installed cartridge. A around $11 plus tax each , it’s a cost effective well water filter solution which you should expect to replace every 30-90 days max depending on the amount of sand, dirt, particles in your well water . I’ve used these same filter cartridges at our cottage to filter lake water used for washing dishes and showering . I strongly recommend them.
