Not better really
Our formula is designed to work down to 0°C. While temperatures outside are near -35°C, your windshield faces extreme temperatures when driving and can be near -50°C so it’s important to choose a windshield washer fluid that protects you from the lowest wind chill temperatures you experience in your area. For best product performance, warm the windshield by letting your car run with the heater on to help prevent ice accumulation or freezing, and make sure that your wiper blades are in good condition. Ensure your windshield and passenger compartment are fully heated before you apply Rain-X ClearView Windshield Washer Fluid.

Q: Can winter Rain-X be added to summer one?
12 years agoA: Yes it can but it would be better to use the summer one at full strength as it removes bugs and tar. Just leave the Summer one in your trunk until the winter one runs dry.

Q: still have some left in the tank it will freeze at 0C or i can use it few degrees under zero?
9 years agoA: Thank you for your question. I would strongly recommend you top up with RainX De-Icer to prevent any possible issues freeze iisues should temperatures drop. The Summer Rainx is not designed to provide freeze protection. Once the De-Icer is added use the washer fluid to tyr to make sure the deicier has run through your lines. The best solution to prevent any issues would be to drain the Summer RainX and replace with winter RainX.
