Unless I did this wrong - there is seepage when you use this method of closing off the end of your half inch hose. If you are looking at a water tight option this is not for you. If the end of the hose ends up in an area where it doesn't matter if there is a little water leakage then it is of no consequence. Maybe there is an ideal distance from the end at which you bend the hose?
