Lovely mat! Great cushion and grip!

I've only used it in a few yoga practices so far, all at home (vinyasa and hatha - no hot yoga), and right from the first downward dog, it's had fabulous grip, maybe 1% slipping. My hands and feet weren't particularly sweaty, so it's hard to say how grippy it would be in a hot class, but for dry grip so far I'd rate it 10/10. And as a 5mm mat it has ample cushioning, without being too spongy for balancing. I love the TPE material; excellent feel to it, and lightweight. There is a bit of a scent to the mat when you're face-down in child's pose or in a chaturanga, but it's not a noxious rubber smell and I actually find it quite pleasant.
I had debated going all out and buying an expensive high-end yoga mat, but I'm glad I settled on this one.

Good Yoga Mat

I have had this same yoga mat for 4-5 years and had to buy another because it was getting so worn out. It's not the stickiest yoga mat, sometimes it was a bit slippery, I'm not sure why, but it was nice and cushy, and the non-toxic factor was very important to me. I did a lot of burpees on it so it did wear in certain places.
