Non-standard size means you can't combine multiple lengths

The hose is a non-standard size (1 1/8), so you can't couple multiple lengths together, because couplers this size don't exist.

Bought because I was in a pinch and it had everything I needed to connect to the sump pump. 9 feet of the hose was rubbed through from being inside the box, found out when I tested sump pump function. Screw backed out of clamp when removing to replace with a new different brand hose requiring a hammer to break clamp loose. Inferior quality clamps and hose with the thickness of a Tim Hortons disposable coffee lid. ABSOLUTE JUNK. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not just for sump pumps

We were looking for a means to divert the overflow of a rain barrel and this was exactly what we wanted. Not the intended purpose, but perfect nonetheless and for a much better price than any other solutions we priced out.

  • A: Yes but you’d need different fittings for the end. I ended up returning this and getting the coil version the store had instead.  Easier to,size and no need for extra fittings
