    Great remote.. same as viper .. can be used for most viper remote start brains 4x06 and up.. 4x10 and 5x10 and ds4

    Came with dead batteries, one fob had plastic removed. Clearance sale, stuck with it. Then found out only works with certain module, not my current remote system from CT. Had to purchase another kit to make it work. Yet to install, been too busy.

    Q: I have a 2001 f350 7.3 diesel with the prostart installed with just the two button remote, what do I need to make this 5 button remote to work. I want it so that I can confirm it has started on this 2 way.

    • A: First you will want to check the numbers on your antenna and the one on this to make sure it is compatible. Another thing is some pro start main brain are only 1 way. The only way to do this right is to buy a 2way unit and switch it out. Wiring will be the same. Only need to program the new one.

    Q: Will this work on a 2013 Honda CR-V ? The reviews are very mixed.

    Q: I would like to purchase this after market remote to replace my 2-way remote. Would it be compatible with Antenna FM TW-130, FCC EZSDEI3510 ?

    • A: Probably not. I could not get the remote to pair with a system that was compatible. The manufacturer doesn't answer communications at all. I would steer clear. I'm pretty sure CT doesn't even restock these anymore. It's just leftover stock.

    Q: I recently installed the Directed Honda Plug & Play Remote Starter T-Harness, C356 , but I can't program the Prostart Long Range 2-Way RF Kit remotes to it. Where can I find instructions to program the remotes to it?

    Q: All I read is that it isnt compatible with anything, what in the heck is it compatible with or what bypass module is required to get this darn thing working. 2013 GMC Sierra. Current running on a CT4311TW but fobs are shot.

    • A: Hi there, The Prostart Longer Range 2-way RF kit is simply a pair of remotes and an antenna, they are designed to work with the Directed Digital solutions. For your 2013 GMC Sierra the part number for the compatible Directed Digital solution for your vehicle would be a 34-2305 (Directed GM C2 PnP remote start w/T-harness). This part maybe found on the Canadian Tre website (just search the part number 34-2305).

    • A: Hi Dyllan, The Prostart Long Range 2-way RF kit (0340845P) is designed to work with vehicle specific systems. It is not compatible with current or older Prostart remote starter systems that where sold complete with remotes. If you provide the year, make and model of your vehicle we can confirm if there is a vehicle specific system available to work with the Prostart Long Range 2-Way RF kit.

    • A: Hi there, The ProStart long range 2-Way RF Kit (0340845P) is simply a remote kit designed to be added onto one of our digital starter kits. The Prostart 5 Button LED remote start kit (0340793) is a complete 2-Way LED remote start system. This kit along with a DB3 (0342402) interface module (required to interface any current Prostart system with your Acura’s factory immobilizer system and advanced on-board computer systems) would offer a complete remote starter solution for your 2014 Acura ILX.
