Q: shims? do these come with the shims or are they sold separately?
13 years agoA: The CTD530 set I purchased came with shims installed on the backs of the pads, but did not include the clips that sit between the edges of the pads and the calipers.

Q: There are two rear brake pads that appear identical ( #016-4778-0 & #016-0246-0 ) and they are even the same price. What’s the difference?
5 years agoA: Hi, apologies for the confusion. 016-0246 is a semi-metallic pad and 016-4778 is the ceramic pad. The only difference is the type of friction material used.

Q: Wow, never thought this would be so confusing - what is included in this product???? The photo shows 4 brake pads and says "sold individually" so right off the bat - why is there a photo of 4? What should I select to replace the 4 pads on my 2 back tires?
5 years agoA: Brake pads are always sold in a set of 4 pads, so one set will come with everything you need to replace all of the rear brake pads on your vehicle.
