Dangerous. Do not buy

I bought this and got a solid 7 -8 months out of it before it began skipping and stopping. Threw me right into the handle bars. After reading the reviews I see this is normal for this brand. I would highly recommend you save your money and buy something else. This is a dangerous piece of expense garbage

Waste of cash

I do not recommend this treadmill. I only got 83 hours out of it. I used it if 7 months and stop for a while then when I tried to use it again it wouldn't run just short out. I call for repairs paid almost $400 for part and labor only to find out it needed more parts. I would only recommend this threadmill to someone who have money to throw away.

Worst purchase ever

If I could give this treadmill 0 stars I would. It has lasted just long enough for the 1 year warranty to expire. Now it barely lasts 5 minutes without coming to a complete stop. Will never buy a proform treadmill again.

Q: How easy is it to move this around? I see that it folds up, but I'd still like to be able to tuck it away somewhere.

A: Folded up it still takes up space about four get by four feet. It’s not being tucked away in a corner, closest or under a bed. Moving is easy it is on wheels and is not overly heavy. However I’m 6’2” and pretty fit. Hope this helps.

A: Sandi This equipment is packaged in a box 12”H x 30”W x 76”L and weighs 201 lbs. To get a better idea for how assembly goes, you can download the free app called BILT and look at the steps for assembly in 3D images. Q: Many unhappy customers with product. Many people are not happy with the quality assurance due to cheap plastic, broken wires, poor fit etc...Does anyone know where the country of manufacture is? With only a 2.6 CHP motor, do you find it noisy? Thx.

Q: Does this treadmill have any safety features that would prevent a child from turning it on? My kids are little and are always poking at things. I don’t want them to be able to turn the treadmill on and hurt themselves when I’m not in the room.

A: It comes with a magnetic safety 'key' that must be in place for the treadmill belt to activate. It can be clipped onto your shirt while using the treadmill so that in case of a fall, the key is pulled out and the treadmill stops. Keeping the key in a safe place away from the treadmill while not using it would stop a child from turning it on.

A: Aim7 This particular treadmill has a weight capacity rating at 300 lbs. Although it may be able to withstand use by a heavier user than the capacity rating, if any damage should occur to this treadmill while exceeding the maximum capacity rating, the warranty may void. ProForm does have treadmill models with a higher weight limit. The ProForm Trainer 8.0 (proform.com/treadmills/trainer-80), ProForm 995i (proform.com/treadmills/power995i), and ProForm 2000 (proform.com/treadmills/pro2000) are rated at 350 lb capacity.
