We purchased 2 of these about 2 months ago for our solar set up at our trailer. They were recommended to us from family, as they purchased 2 of them almost 4 years ago, and they are still running strong. We previously ran 4 motor master marine batteries prior to this, so this was an upgrade as one of these is almost the equivalent to all 4 of our old ones. This was a big upgrade for us, and we are NOT disappointed. We typically read about 13V and we see no drop in voltage when we have the inverter running 12V.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Do those terminals screw off to reveal studs?

A: This battery features SAE posts. You could convert the battery to stud posts simply by using MotoMaster Battery Terminals 011-3506. Alternatively, you could consider our AGM 8D battery model 010-2105 which has "bus terminals" (side mounted studs).

Q: Can this battery handle 200 to 350 amps load for under an hour at a time?

A: To be able to achieve 60 minutes of runtime under a 250-350 amps draw, consider connecting two of these batteries (#010-2104) in parallel. One battery on its own would provide 151 amps over 60 minutes.
