Golf ball retriever

As a veteran ball hawk these retrievers pay for themselves after one outing scooping a few Pro V1s. Maybe it’s me but I prefer the circular plastic ring type versus the floppy scoop this one has. I found if it was sitting in silt and you pushed down on the ball there was not enough pressure/resistance to get the ball in the scoop whereas I never had an issue with the solid ring type.
