From burnt to pretty

many of us still have a 4 burner stove. Occasionally we forget to lift our covers off the burners, this is were the paint comes in. Clean with steel wool and spray. You got a shinny new cover.

Q: I recently purchased 5 cans but 3 of them stopped spraying completely after using about 1/4 of the paint. How can I fix this?

A: When finished spraying, even for a few minutes, tip the can upside down and spray out any paint still in the nozzle with just compressed air from the can. Wipe the nozzle clean. Spray paint dries quickly and will plug up the nozzle. Also, when using the can to paint ensure it is always straight up and down, if you are trying to spray with it on its side, it may spray out too much of the compressed air before the paint is finished.

Q: Can this be used over top of latex/oil hybrid exterior wood stain/varnish? would sanding or another primer be needed first?

A: Hi, Great question! We recommend cleaning the surface really well and then lightly scuff sanding with 220-grit sandpaper. Remove the sanding dust before testing on a small area first. If the test shows poor adhesion, we recommend priming with our Zinsser Bulls Eye 123 then.

A: Hi Chiddles77, Our Premier Multi-Surface Spray Paint is oil based. However, we have not tested the method of swirl painting and this will be something you will need to test on your own. We hope this new information is helpful.
