Q: What kind of paint would I use over this primer to paint a fireplace?

1 Answer

A: If the fireplace is for decorative purposes only, any of our exterior flat finish paints will work well. If the fireplace will be used, but the material is away from the fireplace (like a trim), then any of our exterior flat finish paints will also work. If the fireplace will be used, but the material is close to the fireplace, we strongly recommend a high heat paint (0489242 Tremclad Rust Paint Hi-Heat).
