[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars steel posthole digger is. Must have if you plan on digging any post holes by hand!! Let me tell you. I have put down a lot of post holes in my life and wow, what I wouldn’t give to have a pair of these way back when!! Not only are they sharp, but they are well built. Although a little tight out of the box, once you start using them they loosen up to a perfect feel. The best part and one that I would have paid dearly for is the fact that they are designed in a matter that eliminates the possibility of pinching your fingers and hands. They have a nice wide spread and are very, very easy to use! Besides, they fit my wife’s hands perfectly! Haha!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Post Hole Diggers by Fiskars and these are some really good ones. Plus they came at a time when they were really needed. I live in Kentucky and the Eastern part of Kentucky where I am volunteering at has been hit with Flooding really badly. These will help to put in new fences, mailboxes, etc. They do the job too. I highly recommend this product.

Whoa bigger than I thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what I had in mind when I got this but I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as big as me. I'm 5'0 and this is nearly that big!! But it is a behemoth that can get the job done. A post hole digger requires brute force along with leverage so this tool allows that. Well constructed and heavy. Sturdy and sure to last a long time.

Q: This picture is awful, all the detail is cropped off it and I can't even see how this product works. Is it a clamshell hinged digger or an auger-type?

- A: It's like a clam shell type however they actually look like 3.5 inch nails (5 ot 6 of them) that clamp up when you press down on the stick. You will then need to pull it up and hit that round button on top to eject. Very hard on the hands tho...10 years agoHelpful?
