Much brighter than you think! The first thing you do is charge it, using a regular USB A charging port (you can use your old phone charger) - it comes with the cable. It will light up red when it needs a charge and then it will light up green once it is fully charged (about a couple of hours or so).
Once it is fully charged, it is Super Easy to use - four button presses: bright, medium, low, and off. You can hang it, using its cable loop and use it to light up a dining table, you can just let it sit flat on a table and just use it as a lantern, or you can use it as a flash light (it fights nicely in your palm). Using the low setting will pretty well provide you with a night light, that will last overnight.

Amazing, charges fast, bright, light & durable. I use this all the time in my 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK 2dr. I hook it on the rear Holy Cow handle for when I need lite in the back. The charger cord works so awesome for hooking it anywhere needed.

Q: I am not sure if I bad one but how do I turn it off when it's charging? I also charged it for 3 hours and when I disconnect it from the USB charger and I try to turn it on, it doesn't? Does this light only work when it is plugged into a charger?

A: Mine is the same thing. Unplug it, and it doesn't work at all.

Q: just wondering how heavy this light is and whether or not it could hang safely by the strap on a shower nozzle (supporting all of its weight)?
