Q: How do I put to cleaning mode?

A: Fill the water recervoir with fresh water. Pressing the Setting Selection Button until the Cleaning Cycle indicator is on. Then press the Power Button to go into cleaning mode. In cleaning mode, the pump will run for 6 minutes.

Q: Does this keep ice cold? Or does it require it to be transferred to the freezer? I'd prefer the soft ice and not deep freeze hard.

Great ice machine

Excellent ice-making machine. Makes 2 large zip-loc bags in 2-3 hours. Need to empty the bucket half-way through, if you are making a full batch.

Great machine so far, still quite loud because the ice is so big and the container has no insulation to keep the sound inside. But otherwise, works great so far!
