Leaks when brand new

Leaks more than the spigot i was trying to replace even when following the provided instructions. I ended up replacing the oring in the old spigot to stop the leaking.

Doesnt work

Leaks and doesnt sit against the wall. Try to fix it by turning it abit tighter and the plastic sleeve breaks. Wish I had the receipt. Cheaper and better qaulity elsewhere..

Not up to my quality standards

It works, BUT I have 2 complaints. The diverter doesn't go into place smoothly or easily. If you have a straight copper pipe to install it on like I do, the adapter sticks out about a quarter inch which either leaves an unsightly gap or is very difficult to caulk.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: does this spout have a thread in front or is it at the back by the wall?

A: It is actually in the middle. I cut off the soldered threads on the pipe sticking out. I do not recommend this as it is a piece of junk. Buy the one where you pull the round plunger down on the front under/ in the spout. It comes with its own adapter.

Q: The brass ring creates a 1/4 inch gap from the wall whereas my previous one by Moen did not. Is 1/4 inch gap okay and then seal it with caulking or will it cause an issue?
