A: Haven't tried, but you can try and let us know! Product was excellent and solved a leak for us down to our downstairs neighbour. Used it between the tub drain and the tub.

Q: Could I use this to make my tub stopper water tight to stop slow draining while having a bath? Will this work while immersed underwater?

A: But I read online it would work. I have tried a bunch of new stoppers. Even one that fits well and snug hasn’t stopped the draining. So I don’t feel like spending my money on more stoppers. My tub is the insert stopper into hole, not the up and down one.

Q: Can this stainless plumber's putty be used with ABS?

A: The phone number 800-345-3358 reaches Delta Faucet and they have no information about whether this stainless putty is compatible with ABS. They also say that PlumbShop is a different brand and they do not have information about the product. They suggest contacting the vendor or manufacturer directly. And so goes the endless circle of customer support inquiries.

Q: I have to install a shower column on a tile wall. My contractor made a 1.5" wide x 3” height rectangular hole for the hot and cold water pipes to come out. Can I use this product to seal that hole or what else you would recommend?

A: Not sure if this would work or not, I have only used this to give a good, clean seal when installing drains in kitchen or bathroom sinks. Perhaps inquire from your contractor if there is a better option, if there is a metal plate that comes with your shower colum, it should cover the hole, and should come with a good rubber seal? Sorry that I can't give you a better answer.

Q: Is it OK to seal "one" rectangular hole for the hot and cold water pipes that come out from a tile wall for a shower column? The hole is about 1.5 wide x 3" height. Just want to make it water-tight.
