    Q: Can you use this on a swimming pool pump o ring and gasket?

    Q: Is this grease "food grade"? Research tells me I should use "food grade" silicone grease for the O rings on my kitchen tap. I found two products and only this one comes closest as it mentions O rings and faucets.

    • A: This silicone is rated for use in domestic water systems, so yes it is "food safe'. I have been using it on the gaskets of my Rainfresh water filters for years, as well as other odd needs around the house.

    Q: I have trust master rudder pedals for gaming can i use this grease, where metal rails come in contact with plastic parts.

    • A: Plumb shop silicon grease would probably work as it does not affect plastic parts, but it may be a bit expensive as this is a food safe grease for plumbing. I have used regular silicon grease for plastic applications where food safety isn't a concern, its less expensive and more available.(in the automotive section)
