8 years agoA: Completing the installation of a new car radio typically involves the purchase of several accessories specific to your vehicle. These include a wiring harness to match the wires from the Pioneer radio to the OEM system - purchasing these harnesses simplifies the installation allowing you to simply match up the wires and then plug in the new radio to your vehicle. For many vehicles you'll also want a dash trim kit to make the aftermarket radio look like it was designed for the vehicle as the OEM radio may have a different size and shape. Depending on the vehicle there may also be steering wheel controls to integrate and an antenna adapter to connect your radio antenna. Overall, we recommend going into a Canadian Tire store and having a specialists walk you through what products you need.
