Long burning logs

Based on reviews I purchased these logs and they have lived up to the positive reviews. Logs burn 4.5 hrs plus with nice warm flames. We did not note any hint of a coffee aroma in the room however which was fine with us.

A: I wouldn’t use them for cooking food. Like all fire logs they use compounds to help combustion. These could contaminate food. These are good logs to burn in a fireplace instead of wood. They don’t seen to add any creosote to the chimney. Hope this helps.

Q: Nowhere does it say how many logs are in the case. That determines one of the main reasons whether it is a good deal or not.

A: There are 4 logs per box making them marginally more expensive but still competitively priced when compared to other brands on a $/burning time basis ($/log isn’t the correct measure as diffrent brands have diffrent burning times). I prefer them be raise they burn longer and crackle more than other brands.
