I bought this and another reusable trap that came with its own manufacturered lure solution. I set both up about 5 ft from each other. In this one I put a chicken nugget and water with dawn. In a week I've got like 50 wasps! The other one has 2!

A: Fill a bucket with water. Submerge the trap and leave it for 10+ mins incase any wasps are still alive then take it out and rise it off/wash it then refill. Very simple

Q: Does this work for bumblebees as well?

A: I don't think so. I've got many wasps and bumblebees flying around my property and only the wasps have made their way inside the trap. That being said, I'm glad it's that way because I don't find the bumblebees to be a nuisance since they're actually useful for pollinating flowers and vegetables around the garden.

A: The Green Earth Wasp Trap uses lures such as meats and juices that would only attract wasps.

Q: Will this attract honey bees? I only want this for yellow jackets and hornets.

A: The bait formula recommended for use in the Green Earth Yelow Jacket & Wasp Trap, of fruit juice, sugar and raw meat or fish, would not have any attractant value for bees. A Bees natural instinct is to forage from the sugary nectar in flowers, and will by pass all other sugar sources, while YellowJackets or Wasps are quickly attracted to all sugary and protein food sources.
