Awesome soup maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second soup maker as I used to have an older generation which lasted many years before I gave it away and bought a new one. For someone who loves soup but also too busy to make it every day, it's really easy to use and saves time. Using this soup maker also helped me to reach my desired weight and maintain it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pratique MAIS ... !!!

An integral part of my life now, I love it!

I’ve always loved soup, but made large batches, parts of which needed to be frozen. With this Philips Soup Maker I make soup from fresh ingredients every other day, every day if my hubby is having some too. I started with the mushroom soup recipe and it was actually too strong, so I added more milk and since then I have found I don’t need many ingredients to make great soup. Two stalks of celery, two mushrooms, half a carrot, a thick slice of onion, one clove of garlic, parsley, fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, a bit of sage, some olive oil, or drippings from roasted meat, or a dollop of tomato paste, or half a bouillon cube for chicken flavor are the ingredients I use most. then I vary with other vegetables like cabbage or zucchini up to the line, and add water. 20 minutes later, it is done. My hubby likes chunky so I take his out then blend the rest for 5 or so seconds for mine. I garnish the finished soup with a dollop of sour cream, or a cut up piece of cheese which gets all melty, but favorite is adding grated ginger before cooking and some lemon juice afterwards. I also add cooked rice or other grains, cooked noodles, or a crusty piece of bread. Or chopped up meat from last night’s dinner. sometimes I use it to cook all the veggies in the crisper before they go bad, nothing goes to waste now. I know there are others with more features, but being busy babysitting 4 grandkids every weekday, I just don’t have the time to babysit the stove, oh and the kids love soup too.

Yes, I recommend this product.
