A: 7 US gallons or 26.50 litres. A medium bag of dog food. Not the little bag or the really big bag. The weight of food depends on the density of the food. It is made of plastic and is on wheels so I would not put very heavy, dense stuff in it.

Q: What size bag of pet food does this hold? I'm interested in using this for a 20kg bag.

Q: Wanting to confirm if this bin can store store bought/sealed human food stuffs (boxes of crackers/cereal) etc. To protect pantry products that are stock (not in use).from Larder Beetles

A: Yes, it has a good seal. But in saying that, it's rather large for human size products. I use mine to hold larger cat litter bags. I would suggest air lock food savers for that specifically. OXO has a great brand I use. Press and click to air seal style.

Q: How much weight does this container hold?

A: There is not a chance this holds 14.96 kg of food. I bought a 14kg bag of food while waiting for these bins to arrive (based on the Canadian Tire answer) and at least a third or more of the bag in still in my garage
