Not what I wanted. Purchase the all wood steps. It is much taller. Pets can get on and off your bed.

Difficult to assemble. The screws strip when attempting assembly. Very small height. No good for dogs or cats trying to climb on to your bed. I really do not see any practical use for the Petco 3-step wire pet stairs. I am tossing mine into the garbage.

Useful pet stairs, easy to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Effective pet stairs. Work as desired. Stairs covered in soft material. Sturdy. Functional. Useful for getting on couch or chair. Supportive for small and medium sized dogs without concern. Easy to put together, allow at least 20 to 30 minutes. Comes with small tool to assist with assembly. Frame is metal so sturdy.

Good stairs that all the cats use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a cat that has seisures and thos causes her to have mobility issues. We saw this product in Petco's Spotted system and wanted to give it a try. It was sent to us for free for an honest review.
The assembly went smoothly with the exception of the threads on the rods had some paint over spray. I would suggest running a screw down each one in advance to clean the threads. It will make the assembly easier.
Once assembled the stairs are sturdy and do not flex under weight. I have a 15 pound cat that is too lazy to jump on to the bed (may be why he is so heavy) that uses the stairs too. Actually, all of the cats love the convenience of stairs over jumping up. Especially the cat with mobility issues. She can now get up on the bed where she can sunbathe and be close to her people.
The one thing that I will that this could do is collapse for storage. I can always disassemble it, though you always take the risk of losing parts.
Overall, I like this product. Assembly was easy and it functions like needed.
