Permatex Polyurethane Adhesive is a one-component, silicone free, rubber based multipurpose formula designed specifically for automotive, industrial and marine repairs. Unlike other adhesives which substitute strength for flexibility, Permatex Black Polyurethane remains highly flexible, creating a permanent elastic bond while maintaining high strength performance. Operating temperature range -40’C to 93’C (-40’F to 200’F).

Like the product but hard to get it out of the tube and it ends up drying inside the tube too quick.

Defective / Old & Hardened.

Product had hardened in the tube! Unfortunately, I needed to apply a small amount quickly, thus cut the tube open to acquire a small amount of the uncured adhesive, otherwise I would have returned it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Yes. I use non chlorinated brake clean such as Kleen Flo for post job cleanup before the adhesive has set.

Q: I have a zodiac rubber dinghy and a oar mounting has become loose and about to come off. If I applied this glue would it work. This area does not get wet very often

A: Bonjour, merci pour votre question. Les adhésifs de polyuréthane peuvent tacher les mains comme l'utilisation de teintures pour bois ou de peintures à l'huile. Il est préférable de se laver les mains peu après le contact. L'utilisation du nettoyant pour mains robuste Motomaster® est un bon choix pour se nettoyer les mains. Si les taches persistent, trempez vos mains dans de l'eau tiède avec du savon à vaisselle. Cela peut nécessiter plus d'une application avant que la coloration ne se dissolve.
