Going back to the plasti dip dip.

Got this since the non-spray version was not available. I did not read the super small text and did not see that I should buy the primer. In hindsight I should have sprayed it with Tremclad first. Just finished the second coat and it does not look good. Disappointed with product. Will place 4 coats on for the time period and if or when it peels off, I will find the fluid dip next time.

I purchased this product aboit 7 years ago for the tail lights on my impreza and they still look great. The product is very good, worked the way it said it would, only con is the coverage isnt very good, I had to use multiple cans to get the look I wanted but I've also never been hasseled by the police or anyone else saying my "tail lights aren't visable"

Not worth the hassle

There’s no comparison to VHT nightshade, or a tinted clear coat. I combined this with the glossifier, and there’s no “gloss” to it. 4 coats of each can, looks like a orange peeled matte effect.

Q: Can this be used on wood?

A: Yes, Plasti-dip can be on wood. Be aware that the Plasti-dip may not peel off the wood surface. The wood should be sealed in varnish if you need to peel the Plasti-dip off.

A: Plasti-dip works on most fabric. You should test for colour fastness before using. Plasti-dip on fabric.
