Glossifier does not make plastidip projects “glossy”. At best, it only puts a slight sheen on a matte effect.

Q: I live in an area with harsh winters. Road salt beet juice and sand. I find this causes items to rust. Can I spray this over rock guard running boards for protection

A: You can use plasti dip for this application but I would use one of our standard color and then if you want it glossy looking you can add the glossifer on top of the color of plasti dip that you picked.

A: Plasti Dip Multi-purpose Rubber Coating can be easily applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying. It protects coated items against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, and weathering. The product remains flexible and stretchy over time, and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions, -30°F to 200°F. Our products are a do it yourself product used on many substrates such as chrome, plastic, metal, wood and more. You will need to test your application to see if it meets your expectations.
