Easy To Use For Almost Anyone

Purchased Perfect Fitness Pullup in 2012 & would buy again. Using the paper template, to mark the screw holes, is no problem to install. I use it twice weekly, 30 reps., hands under bar & 30 reps, hands over the bar, age 66. With no advertising, sales are low or Canadian Tire would not discontinue it. This unit stays on the door frame, with the bar up top, which saves space & door still closes = perfect. I use a 2x1 wood bar, flat on the floor, 33+1/4 inches, to reach across the door frame, to prevent feet slipping.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Took me 30 min to install it (I'm a perfectionist). Surprising quality, clear instructions and saved me a lot of money by not buying a tower. It does what it announces.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: faut il le visser a m porte ou est-ce que il y a un cadre qui vient avec ?

    1 Answer

Q: Can the bar be removed to close door between workouts?

    1 Answer
    • A: The Pull up bar should be placed on the outside casing of the door, so it would not be in the way when the door closes. The bar may be in the incorrect place on the door casing.

Q: Is there a weight restriction on this? Would it work to hang upside down and do curl-ups? That wouldn't damage the doorframe at all?

    1 Answer
    • A: The weight restriction is 220lbs. This is not meant to be used to hang upside down. This specific product is designed to have permanently mounted brackets that secure to the inside of the door frame which allow this product to work effectively/properly. The alteration of the door frame would require filling and sanding of screw holes, if the pull up bar brackets were ever removed. There is no damage caused by the actual usage of the product once it is secured in place.
