Poor fastening design

The center main fastening collar is a very poor design that cannot fasten this faucet securely without bending or slipping the threads. I have to regularly check my faucet as it regularly works loose. I would also prefer the control that gives the option to be right, left or center oriented. Specifically center because I have this on another sink because any wet hand drips are effortlessly over the sink.
The rest of the unit is ok but the above two features were a deal breaker enough to not recommend.
No, I do not recommend this product.
